Symbolic forces, reclamation
Here is another image which has the possibility of being included in my latest five image series. Which I just discussed in my previous post. So, reclamation is another theme running through this series. If the world is left to its own devices, with no human interaction. It is reclaimed, taken back, but by what? Nature. Well I am using the sea as a symbol for this driving force which seems to reclaim, and take back the world. Again this plays into the cyclical nature of the universe which I love so much. (Take a look back a few posts to the images of the Ouroboros. I did say I would relate it back in!)Anyway, I am just rambling again to try and get straight in my head what exactly I am photographing, and for what reasons.
Maybe some more later.

More Images,Temporal Existance

In a previous post, I discussed an image which I took of a broken mirror. As I stated that concept was about the everyday, but ended up changing, forming itself.
Well here is a second image from the evolved concept, which goes something like this.
OK, we live in a world based on change, nothing stands still, the forces of creation and destruction are everywhere. You could use the term temporal existence when explaining the nature of the world, and universe. My current project deals with this concept, looking at the nature of destruction and creation in our landscape, the cyclical nature of life.
The broken and defunct object is another thematic running through this series, I see the broken object as a very romantic icon. Exactly why this is, I'm not sure? Maybe it is this idea of an eternal wait, no function, no purpose, just the occupation of space.
More to come on this later, images are waiting to be processed!

College begins
So, college begins again. The final stretch to the summer, sun, fun, ¬hing to do. Can't wait.
Things are looking up. My essay is about 80% complete, and my projects are faring alright. A bit of care and focus, & I'll make it to the end of the month.
Thank god. Now if only I could clear my credit card!

A man of wisdom.
Todays Thoughts
I am the moth,
in the days to come.
I am the moth,
which flutters within the shades of light.

Friendship,
A drunken blog, for a good friend.
Bring tea for the Tillerman
Steak for the son
Wine for the woman who made the rain come
Seagulls sing your hearts away
'Cause while the sinners sin, the children play
Oh Lord how they play and play
For that happy day, for that happy day
Steak for the son
Wine for the woman who made the rain come
Seagulls sing your hearts away
'Cause while the sinners sin, the children play
Oh Lord how they play and play
For that happy day, for that happy day
Cat stevens
